First Day of School!

Today I sent my little man Keegan back to school and into the 1st grade. He was ready to see his friends again and make new ones. Ready to learn and start a new year full of new adventures. Hard to believe he is a 1st grader....I remember the day he was born and the first time I got to see his little face. Now my baby boy is growing up. With sending Keegan to school also came the day when I would also send my little lady to school as well. Kaylee has been counting down the days til school for at least the past month. Almost a week ago she picked out her outfit that she would wear. She is an amazing girl. She will go far with her learning and I am sure will make friends and impress teachers.

Today was definitely harder on me than them I believe. It was the last first day of Pre-Kindergarten I would have with my kiddos. Both growing up fast. Pictures were taken....and there were definitely some tears. I dropped them off and wanted to pick them right back up again... I spent my day instead hunting down shoes for Keegan (of which I was able to find), mow the grass and keep as busy as possible til it was pick up time.

At 2:45 I was at the school waiting down the hall for Kaylee and Keegan to come back to me. They did. And had an amazing first day of school. This is all we wanted. I have been very blessed with 2 little angels and now it is just time to let them go out into the world and bless other people's lives. As long as at 2:45 the come running back to me. :)

So tonight we finish the day with dinner with daddy and Megamind :) Get all rested up for the next day. For those of you who have kids.....hold them tight. They will grow up too fast...it never slows down. Enjoy every moment and cherish them. I have 2 little angels that I will always hold onto. I love you Keegan and Kaylee!!
