When I speak of fair here I am talking about the SUN! We had an awesome weekend up North and I came back with what always seems like the inevitable.....a SUN BURN!
Sunday (and our last day there) we had decided that it was a good idea to hit up the river for some canoeing. With the temps already in the low 90's at 11:00am who wouldn't think this was a great idea. Applying sun screen at an SPF 50+ for babies I thought I would be well protected to get into the water and be good through out the day. WRONG answer! When your in the sun you start to burn within the first 15 minutes. I would find out 5 hours later that my skin was beet red and still burning.
I believe that as of tonight (Tuesday) the burning has stopped. Despite all the complaints I do about being the "fair lady" I will be applying and reapplying every time we are out...anywhere in the sun. So I guess this would be an advice blog....reminding all my fellow friends out there to remember you gotta reapply!
Sincerely,
"the fair lady"
Oh do I know your pain! I burn like crazy and always have to reapply a million times! I hope you're on the mend and feeling better!
