The date: July 31st; time: 1:42 pm; its a fairly calm day outside. Temperatures are in the middle 80s. It would be a perfect day for getting on the river. A perfect day for grilling out. A perfect day for just about anything. Today I have been lazy. First Sunday in a long time that I am not running somewhere. Just enjoying a good movie, time with my family, and relaxing. Listening to my daughter sing is always a good day for me. Even though she makes up most of her our words for the songs she likes. I love seeing the innocence of her and see her imagination unfold. So is today a bad day! Oh heck no! Not even close!
A day without laughter is like a day without sunshine. Definitely a day with lots of sunshine today!
Sunday funday :)

Guardian Angels....they do exist :)
I do a lot of driving to and from work. So this gives me a lot of time to think about all the people we have lost and all the good they put into this world before their time was over. One such person that I think about very often is my Grandma Phyllis. It has been just over 11 1/2 years since she left this world. She was a rock for so many people and left her mark in the hearts of those and many. She was a kind woman always caring for others before herself.
And even though she is gone she is never forgotten. Always remembering the times we had with her. We will always have the memories, and for every rainbow I see...even without the rain... will remind me of her and the kind person she was.
I always seem to see these rainbows on the toughest days I have. I don't believe in coincidence....I believe in fate. My grandma sets out those rainbows to remind me that she is never too far away. Always watching over us and keeping us all safe.
I have been driving to Madison almost daily for the past 1 1/2 years and have not have anything to catastrophic happen for me. Now tell me I shouldn't believe in guardian angels?? I believe I have a few.
Always and Forever,
I love you Grandma!!

A very fair lady
When I speak of fair here I am talking about the SUN! We had an awesome weekend up North and I came back with what always seems like the inevitable.....a SUN BURN!
Sunday (and our last day there) we had decided that it was a good idea to hit up the river for some canoeing. With the temps already in the low 90's at 11:00am who wouldn't think this was a great idea. Applying sun screen at an SPF 50+ for babies I thought I would be well protected to get into the water and be good through out the day. WRONG answer! When your in the sun you start to burn within the first 15 minutes. I would find out 5 hours later that my skin was beet red and still burning.
I believe that as of tonight (Tuesday) the burning has stopped. Despite all the complaints I do about being the "fair lady" I will be applying and reapplying every time we are out...anywhere in the sun. So I guess this would be an advice blog....reminding all my fellow friends out there to remember you gotta reapply!
Sincerely,
"the fair lady"

The Beginning
So this will be the first, but not the last blog that I will ever do. I am doing this for me, but I am sure that some will take the time to read it. If not...I have done what I needed to do. There was a time when what people said mattered more than anything...that time is over. Everything that I do I do for me. I have a lot of people that stand behind me in what I do and want to do.
Life began for me 29 1/2 years ago. As my 30th birthday approaches this year I am destined to get everything that I need and want out of life. My ventures have been well thought out and with all the support that I have I look forward to the future. Everyone has a plan.....it takes a strong person to execute that plan and make their life their own. I feel stronger than I ever have been and ready anything!
Even though this time is short look for further posts to come. For now its time to get this lady to bed. The beach and sun wasn't so forgiving today. Sunburnt and exhausted I am headed to bed! Good night.
